By Paris Runway Official
On September 14th at 2 PM, designer Seseley Paige of TOO FLAME unveiled her latest collection, “Forbidden,” at Flying Solo’s New York Fashion Week showcase on Madison Avenue, overlooking the Manhattan skyline. The collection which was a striking reference to the Garden of Eden blended sensuality, rebellion, and sustainability into a vision that was both daring and unforgettable.

Over the years, Paris Runway Official has met designers from across the globe, but Paige’s story stands out for its depth and resilience. Trained largely through self-teaching, Paige began designing during the pandemic after years of selling vintage clothing on Etsy. Though her path originally led her into the world of Information Technology where she rose to the role of Systems Engineer... her true passion for fashion couldn’t be contained. In her thirties, she made the bold decision to pursue design full-time, a move supported by her family and fueled by her conviction.

TOO FLAME is more than a label; it’s a reflection of Paige’s journey through pain, joy, and perseverance. Each garment is created with sustainability in mind, transforming reclaimed materials into bold silhouettes that empower their wearer with confidence and edge. “Forbidden” carried that spirit, delivering looks that pushed beyond fashion into storytelling... they were clothing not just to be worn, but to be lived in.

Presented as part of Flying Solo’s NYFW show, an event consistently covered by Vogue, WWD, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, and Fashion Week Online, TOO FLAME’s collection lit up the runway with originality and purpose.
With “Forbidden,” Seseley Paige proved that TOO FLAME is not simply a brand, but a movement... one where fashion meets identity, and every piece is a declaration of self-expression. Let's not forget, sustainable too.
