The Return of Glamour: A Designer we fell in love with that we hope to see more of... Meet Guillermo Pharis
By Paris Runway Official, Brit Olivia, Fashion Journalist
When Guillermo Pharis first picked up a needle and thread at the age of nine, he wasn’t just playing with fabric... he was laying the foundation of a lifelong dream. Today, that dream is Guillermo Pharis Bridal, a brand rooted in elegance, timelessness, and a profound admiration for the women who inspire it.

Raised solely by women, Pharis found his first muses at home, but it was a Christian Dior fashion show that turned admiration into ambition. “That moment changed everything for me,” he recalls. “I knew I had to dedicate my life to this.” After honing his skills at the Fashion Institute of Technology and freelancing in New York City, Pharis launched his first bridal collection in October 2019 and hasn’t looked back.
BRANDING:
With retail locations in both Denver and Los Angeles, and a highly anticipated reopening in New York City this fall, Guillermo Pharis Bridal continues to captivate modern brides seeking refined glamour. His Denver atelier in Cherry Creek offers a private experience at 201 Steele Street, while his downtown L.A. showroom brings West Coast brides into the fold. The brand also offers an online shop, making it accessible for women around the world.
Describing his brand in three words: Timeless. Elegant. Glamorous. Pharis caters to brides who want a gown that whispers sophistication but speaks volumes. “My ideal customer is confident and graceful. She wants a gown that honors tradition while embracing the present,” he explains.
A global citizen of fashion, Pharis draws inspiration from everywhere... architecture, art, his multicultural roots, and years spent living in cities like New York. “Travel has given me so much perspective,” he says. “I like to translate those moments into silhouettes and details that brides can carry with them forever. I lived my whole 20's in NYC so for me it is very important to get back and work as much as I can with the city that shaped my career."

CREATIVE PROCESS:
His creative process begins with instinct — often sparked by a fabric or painting — followed by meticulous sketching, revisions, and production in New York’s Garment District. Pharis favors luxurious materials like silk faille and mikado, which lend his gowns structure and poetic drama.

RUNWAY:
Having graced the runways of New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Honduras, and most recently, Denver Fashion Week, Pharis’s work is garnering international attention. But for the designer, returning to New York City Bridal Week this October is more than just another show. “I spent my twenties in NYC — it’s the city that shaped my vision. Going back now feels like coming full circle.”
With runway invitations already extended from Toronto, Paris, and London, and a goal to expand his presence in the market, Guillermo Pharis is more than a name — he’s a movement. A designer who turns fabric into emotion, structure into softness, and a dream into a gown.

WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT GUILLERMO PHARIS:
At the recent runway show we attended this past weekend, Guillermo Pharis made an unforgettable impression—both on and off the catwalk. As guests arrived, each seat was adorned with a single rose and an elegantly crafted brochure, a personal touch from Guillermo himself.
Behind the scenes, the designer was fully immersed in every detail of the production... assisting with set-up, dressing models, and overseeing the final stitches of each gown. His passion for fashion was evident not only in the garments, but in the care he extended to everyone involved.
Guillermo’s presence radiated intention. He didn’t just want guests to feel special—he wanted everyone to feel seen and appreciated: the models, the beauty team, photographers, and the production crew. It was a rare display of humility and gratitude in an industry that often moves too fast to pause.
These intimate and heartfelt moments were captured by Julie Trinh, a ten-year veteran in photojournalism, whose lens revealed the sincerity behind the spectacle.
“We appreciate and honor designers all over the world,” says fashion journalist Brit Olivia. “But what Guillermo offered was something deeper—his presence, his gratitude, and his willingness to make every person feel important. That kind of sacrificial spirit is rare. He’s not just designing gowns—he’s designing moments of meaning.”
