The James Label: Authority, Presence, and the Power of “The House”
On Friday, February 13, 2026, The James Label will unveil its Spring collection in a private showcase titled Spring Fashion 2026: Hosted by The James Label, set within the raw, creative landscape of FarGo Village. Located in the heart of Coventry, the industrial arts hub provides an intentionally striking backdrop for a brand rooted in structure, confidence, and unapologetic presence.

The event marks not only the debut of the collection, The House, but also the official launch of TJL Industries, the parent company behind the label. Founded and led by 18-year-old British designer James, TJL Industries is set to manage models, fashion brands, stylists, and creatives across the industry. At an age when many are only beginning to imagine their place in fashion, James is already positioning himself as one of the youngest and most formidable fashion PR managers in the United Kingdom. “Fashion is my life,” he states. “From each stitch to each PR client, it all means the world to me. I will stop at nothing in giving my clients every opportunity that they are worth.”

Appropriately titled The House, the debut collection establishes the ethos of The James Label with clarity and restraint. It is a study in authority through presence... power that does not announce itself, but is felt instinctively. Designed to command a room rather than compete within it, the collection focuses on silhouette, control, and structure, allowing confidence to emerge through precision rather than excess. The garments function as tools of expression, enabling women to step fully into who they choose to be. Central to the collection is the designer’s commitment to inclusivity, showcased through models of diverse ethnic backgrounds and body shapes... affirming that fashion, at its most powerful, belongs to everyone.
Inspired by the psychology of dress and the way women construct identity through clothing, James approaches design with intention. Old Hollywood glamour refined rather than nostalgic meets modern femininity defined by construction, not softness. Drawing from his surroundings in the West Midlands, particularly Coventry and Birmingham, as well as the streets of Paris, London, and Milan, James bridges the gap between high fashion and lived reality, translating elevated aesthetics into wearable authority.

Following the showcase, The House will be available for purchase through The James Label’s online store, launching the same day. Attendees of the private presentation will receive exclusive early access and a limited-time discount before the collection opens to the public on February 15, 2026. The line is divided into three distinct offerings: Ready-to-Wear, Made-to-Measure, and the label’s innovative Archive Loan Service, catering to stylists and red-carpet-level looks. Looking ahead, James also envisions a future diffusion line, expanding accessibility while preserving the integrity of the brand.
For James, the runway is where ideas transform. “Each idea is like a seed,” he explains. “With the right care, it can bloom into a garden of beauty, confidence, and becoming.” Thriving under pressure, he views the journey from concept to catwalk as a defining moment... one that reflects his broader ambition to grow The James Label from an exclusive house into a globally accessible fashion force.
That ambition is deeply personal. Raised among strong matriarchal figures particularly his grandmothers, whom he credits as the quiet architects of his family... James learned early the power of presence without performance. Their strength continues to shape how he leads, designs, and builds. He also acknowledges the guidance of mentors Elizabeth Field and Louise Sinden, as well as the influence of Hannah Warwick of HULAHAN, whose belief in his vision helped solidify the label’s confidence and direction.
This season, James extends heartfelt gratitude to model Natalija-Paris Hall and Jenae Rochelle (@curvyblackwitch88), whose support and friendship were integral to the creative process. He also thanks his tutors for their continued mentorship and his team, whom he credits as the foundation of the brand itself. “Without them,” he says, “The James Label would be nothing but dust.”
Captured through the lens of Victor (@v.b_visuals) and styled by Laura-Jayne (@laurajaynestylist), the accompanying imagery reflects the designer’s essence with precision and restraint. As James looks ahead toward future shows, deeper community engagement, and nurturing the next generation of creatives... The House stands as a powerful introduction: a declaration of intent, authority, and a new voice in British fashion.
