The Beauty Queen that is stepping up in the Charity Sector - Meet Sangeetha

Getting to know the beauty queen that puts her efforts into charity work and stepping up to see a kinder planet. Meet Sangeetha.

Meet Sangeetha Menon. A beauty queen that got her Cinderella story at 40 years old in the United Kingdom. Not only did she win sashes, but she also left her comfortable job in technology world to move over to a life of charity work and long term visions of making the planet a safer, kinder place through volunteer work and of course her 'day job' of working with animals. She also has her her very own food bank and 'Unstoppable Me' initiatives - a movement tackling body shaming and building self-image confidence.

She tells us in our sit down interview with her... "Currently, I’m the Digital Learning and IT Training Manager for Dogs Trust, where my love for dogs and my passion for tech come together in the most rewarding way. The role gives me a sense of purpose and knowing that I’m contributing to an organization that makes such a positive impact on the lives of animals and people alike is incredibly fulfilling.

It’s not just a job, it’s a chance to make a difference, all while being surrounded by people
who share the same values of compassion and care."

Sangeetha was a fresh breath of air to interview as we could see she truly LOVED people and showed it through her actions. She made the changes in her life to not just say she wanted the world a better place but to actually make the world a better place.

Let's get to know her a little better.

INTERVIEW

Tell us a little about your recognitions:

I recently won the title of Mrs. Congeniality Galaxy 2025 at the Mrs. Galaxy UK Finals,
which was my first pageant. A recognition that is very close to my heart because it celebrates
kindness, community spirit and authenticity, values I live by every day.

I currently hold the title of Mrs. Glamour London, and I am gearing up to compete at the
Mrs. Glamour UK Finals in May 2025.

Outside pageantry, I have also been featured in local community news for my work in
empowering small businesses, promoting smarter food donation through my food bank
campaign, and my Unstoppable Me initiative — a movement tackling body shaming and
building self-image confidence.

Each recognition, whether a crown, a sash, a press feature or a heartfelt thank-you from
someone I have helped, is a reminder that purpose and passion are an unstoppable
combination!

What do you find your passions and desires to be in the world?

At the heart of it, my passion is people and the magic that happens when they start believing in themselves. I am passionate about breaking barriers — whether it’s challenging beauty standards, empowering women to chase their dreams or helping small businesses grow from a spark of an idea into something extraordinary.

My charity work also holds a very special place in my heart. I focus on causes close to my
soul — particularly women’s empowerment, children’s wellbeing and animal welfare. Being
able to contribute to these areas gives real meaning to everything I do.

Ultimately, I desire a world where confidence is contagious, kindness is powerful, and every
person — and every living being — feels seen, celebrated and supported.

Whether it’s walking a runway, mentoring someone, rescuing a dog, or cheering on a local
business owner, my mission is simple: to leave every space better, brighter, and braver than I found it.

What is your favorite thing about the influencer industry?

My favorite thing about the influencer industry is how it has democratized storytelling. You
no longer need to wait for a magazine editor’s approval or a casting agent’s nod. If you have
a voice, a vision and a Wi-Fi connection, you can share your story with the world.

It’s a space where authenticity often triumphs over perfection, and where real people can
inspire change, spark conversations and build genuine communities. I love that someone
like me — a middle-aged, immigrant woman — can connect with people across continents
simply by being herself. It’s a powerful reminder that influence isn’t about fame; it’s about
impact.
