Suchita Naidu: London’s Rising Voice in Fashion and Advocacy - Paris Runway Official Model News

London’s fashion scene has always thrived on diversity, and emerging model Suchita Naidu who is known as “Such” to friends and followers is adding her own unique presence to the runway. A finalist in the Miss World England 2024 pageant competition and the current Miss Watford, Suchita is already making waves not just for her elegance and style, but for the depth of her voice and the causes she stands for.

A Journey from Pageants to Purpose

Born in London and raised partly in Malaysia, Suchita’s multicultural heritage and vibrant upbringing shaped her worldview from an early age. Her Indian-Malaysian roots are a source of pride and influence, inspiring her to represent diverse beauty and culture in the modelling industry. Her early life was filled with movement between countries, schools, and experiences which taught her adaptability and resilience.

Her pageantry career began with regional competitions, culminating in her national recognition as a Miss World England finalist. She also made headlines in late 2023 alongside her brother, a transgender man, when their family’s story gained attention in the media. It was an experience that not only brought visibility to LGBTQIA+ representation but also positioned Suchita as a thoughtful voice on inclusion.

Breaking Barriers in Fashion and Law

Beyond modelling, Suchita’s ambitions extend into the legal field. Recently awarded a £3000 scholarship to attend BPP Law School, she will begin a Law Conversion Masters this year with the ultimate goal of becoming a barrister. She aims to use her skills in communication and advocacy to champion equity, justice, and human rights.

Suchita’s academic credentials include a BSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics, a degree she earned in 2023 despite the challenges of being diagnosed with ADHD later in her studies. Her scholarly foundation in social justice aligns seamlessly with her approach to modelling seeing the runway not just as a place for beauty, but as a platform for impact.

A Model with a Mission

In joining the modelling and fashion community, Suchita is motivated by the opportunity to collaborate with designers especially designers of color and represent diverse faces and body types. She hopes her work will inspire authenticity and confidence in others, encouraging them to embrace their identity without compromise.

“I want to use my knowledge and my position to show people that all most people want is a safe home, food on the table, surrounded by people they love,” she says. “The divisions between us only push peace further out of reach.”

Looking Ahead

Whether she’s preparing for Fashion Week, stepping onto a photoshoot set, or studying case law, Suchita’s guiding principle is clear: “to mitigate harm in all that I do.” Her passions in fashion, advocacy, and law may seem different, but they all stem from a shared purpose which is to to help create a fairer and more compassionate world.

With her grace on the runway, her academic determination, and her outspoken advocacy, Suchita Naidu is proving that the future of modelling is not just about how you walk but it is about the message you carry with you.

Paris Runway Official (PRO) began a program in 2024 where models could join their agency if they were fully sponsored and approved by a brand, a designer, a production company, a runway show, etc. that the Media and PR Company already works with. The Firm, Paris Runway Official, doesn't actually take any commission or fees from the models but gives them the opportunity to walk the Runway when one of their clients need a model for a campaign, runway show or ambassadorship. Instead of Paris Runway Official searching amongst talent elsewhere, they began to create their own modeling roster to give emerging talent the opportunity to work with their exclusive clients.

Suchita was fully sponsored into the program by brands and will receive chances and opportunities to work with over 75 runway shows, 400 designers and brands from all over the world. Her sponsor includes those such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and brands like Aventura Swimwear who allow select woman into their ambassadorship program.
