Paris Runway Exclusive: SHELBY SAPP TAKES THE RUNWAY - THE SALES QUEEN WILL MAKE HER RUNWAY DEBUT AT NEW YORK SWIM WEEK
From boardroom to bikini... See how Shelby Sapp is redefining what it means to "Have It All"
By Brit Olivia | July 2025 | Fashion & Power Issue
When Shelby Sapp, CEO of SheSells and known globally as the “Sales Queen,” walks the New York Swim Week runway on July 26, she won’t just be showcasing fashion but she will be making a statement. Known for building a $10 million sales company in under 10 months, Shelby is more likely to be found leading masterclasses in high-ticket remote sales than posing under runway lights. But this summer, she’s proving that in 2025, a woman doesn’t have to choose between the boardroom and the runway but she can absolutely dominate both.

From CEO to Catwalk
Shelby’s journey to the NYSW catwalk began unconventionally. It started with a direct message from the event team asking if she’d speak on a panel.
“I obviously said yes,” Shelby recalls, laughing. “Then they said, ‘Wait, it would be so iconic if you also walked in the show. Would you be down?’ I’m not a model (never grew past 5’2”) but how could I say no?”
Shelby will speak at a panel on July 24th before heading to the Runway on July 26th where she is preparing to walk for four brands during the event, bringing her high-performance mindset and feminine flair to the fashion world.
“This moment is about showing women you can be a girl boss, a leader, and still lean into beauty, wellness, and fun,” she adds. “You can have it all if you work for it.”
"Interbloom" and the Power of Growth
This year’s New York Swim Week is themed Interbloom, a concept that Shelby says deeply resonates with her.
“It reminds me that all the effort we put into our dreams eventually pays off even if it doesn’t look like it yet,” she explains. “Every side hustle, every sales job I tried… all of it led to this moment. That’s Interbloom.”
For Shelby, this is more than just a theme... it’s a mindset. After starting in door-to-door sales, she built SheSells from the ground up, training over 400,000 women and redefining what it means to succeed in a male-dominated industry.
“Most sales training is made for men, by men,” she says. “I mastered the art of how a woman should sell which is authentically, confidently, and powerfully.”
Runway Firsts & Future Fashion Dreams
This marks Shelby’s first-ever runway show, and though she only had three weeks to prepare, she’s embracing every second.
“I’m definitely a little nervous, but I’m so present. I want to connect with every brand, every woman. This is a room full of people building their dream lives... how rare is that?”
When asked if she’d walk in future shows, her answer is enthusiastic:
“Absolutely! I’m hooked. The women I’ve met are amazing and the creativity in this community inspires me.”
Accolades, Ambitions, and What’s Next
Shelby has earned her title: #1 Female Sales Trainer, with a personal launch day that pulled in nearly $2 million in under two hours. She holds a Master’s in Business from Arizona State University and continues to scale her empire with new ventures including a fitness brand and matcha company.
“Every second of my day goes toward building something meaningful for women,” she says. “I want them to know they can learn high-income skills, own their time, and create the life they want without sacrificing their femininity.”
Shelby Sapp at NYSW: The Moment
Shelby Sapp walking the New York Swim Week runway isn’t a pivot but it is a clear expansion. It’s a woman who has shattered glass ceilings and is now stepping into new spaces with the same unapologetic ambition.
It’s not about becoming a model.
It is about combining success with fun. Boardrooms with Runway. And allowing yourself to create in spaces you may have never dreamt of until someone sends you a direct message.
