Sarah Alkhoury: From Social Media to the Runway, a New Fashion Chapter Begins
With an audience of more than 232,000 Instagram followers, Sarah Alkhoury has already learned what it means to build a recognizable presence online. Now, the Florida-based content creator is taking that confidence beyond the screen and into a new arena: fashion and modeling.
For Sarah, fashion has always been personal. Long before it became part of her career, she saw clothing, photography and personal style as forms of creative expression.
“Fashion is a form of art and self-expression,” she says. “What you wear can say so much about your personality, your mood, and even the season of life you’re in.”
Social media initially provided a place to share that creativity. Over time, however, it evolved into a successful career, allowing Sarah to collaborate with brands, travel, attend events and connect with an international audience. Through it all, she has remained focused on maintaining the authenticity that helped her build her community in the first place.
From Content Creator to Runway Model
More recently, Sarah has begun translating her digital presence into opportunities within the modeling industry.
She recently walked during Miami Fashion Week/Swim Week, an experience she describes as pivotal in confirming her desire to pursue runway modeling more seriously.
The runway offered something different from social media: an immediate, physical expression of the confidence and creativity she had spent years developing online. Now, she wants more... more designers, more runways, editorial opportunities and the chance to establish herself within fashion beyond the digital space.
Her ambitions include expanding into editorial and press, fashion events, brand collaborations and runway shows, while introducing herself to audiences who may not yet know her from social media.
“I’m at a point where I’m ready to continue pushing myself outside of my comfort zone and see how far I can take this chapter of my career,” she says.
Building Beyond the Following
Born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida, where she remains based today, Sarah's life extends well beyond content creation. She also works at a medical spa and has interests spanning travel, fitness, Pilates, reading and personal development.
That multidimensionality is something she intends to preserve as her public profile grows.
While modeling represents an exciting next step, Sarah is also thinking long-term. She hopes to eventually become a property owner and develop investments outside of social media... part of a larger vision centered on creating a life rather than simply building an online following.
Her outlook is grounded in growth and faith. Sarah believes purpose can change throughout different seasons of life and that sometimes moving forward requires allowing an older version of yourself to make room for who you are becoming.
One mindset remains particularly important to her: “What’s meant for me won’t lose me.”
For Sarah, that doesn't mean waiting for opportunities to arrive. It means working toward them while trusting the process.
With a substantial digital audience already behind her and her first runway experiences opening another door, Sarah is entering fashion with something increasingly valuable: an established voice of her own.
The next challenge is discovering just how far that voice and this new modeling chapter can take her.
