Paris Fashion Week Spring 2026: The Official Schedule Has Arrived and It’s Overflowing with Excitement, New Shows & Rebirths

The wait is over... the official Paris Fashion Week schedule for Spring/Summer 2026 is here, and it’s packed with shows, rebirths and of course pure excitement. Fashion’s most anticipated week will unfold from September 29 to October 7, delivering an expanded lineup that signals a season of reinvention, big debuts, and bold returns.

The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has confirmed 76 runway shows and 36 presentations, marking a noticeable increase from last year’s 66 shows and 40 presentations. The numbers alone promise a dynamic season, but it’s the names on the calendar that have the fashion world buzzing.

Let's talk CHANEL & DIOR - The Debuts Everyone Will Be Talking About

Two of the most headline-making moments of the season are set to redefine the heritage of fashion’s biggest houses:

Jonathan Anderson’s womenswear debut at Dior will take place on October 1 at 2:30 PM, following his critically acclaimed menswear collection for the house earlier this year. With his signature mix of avant-garde intellect and wearable elegance, the show is poised to be a defining moment for the season.

Matthieu Blazy’s first-ever collection for Chanel will take center stage on October 6 at 8:00 PM. As the fashion world watches to see how Blazy reinterprets Chanel’s timeless codes, this show is already being positioned as one of the most anticipated events of the entire fashion calendar.

A Calendar Bursting with Creativity

From storied maisons to cult favorites and rising stars, the Spring 2026 schedule is a testament to the continued vitality of Paris Fashion Week. Many of fashion’s most recognizable names return to the runway with collections expected to explore femininity, futurism, and craftsmanship through bold narratives and experimental silhouettes.

Brands returning to the calendar include:

- Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Givenchy, Balmain, Miu Miu, Isabel Marant, Valentino, Acne Studios, Chloé, Rick Owens, and Maison Margiela, among others.

This season’s growth also indicates an exciting rebound for in-person runway experiences, and a continued appetite for Paris as fashion’s most prestigious stage.

Who’s Missing and Why It Matters

Absent from the calendar this season are Marine Serre, Off-White, Kenzo, Duran Lantink, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, and Rokh... designers known for shaking up the establishment with daring silhouettes and next-gen commentary. While their absence will be felt, it also highlights the ever-shifting dynamics of the industry: some choosing independence, others recalibrating.

Fashion with a Purpose

This season isn’t just about beautiful clothes. It's about context. With the luxury market facing economic headwinds, designers are increasingly expected to deliver not just creativity—but clarity. Expect shows that balance art with purpose, beauty with business.

From couture craftsmanship to digitally immersive presentations, Paris is preparing to host a dynamic intersection of legacy and experimentation. The season’s themes? Sustainability, softness, surrealism, and a return to real clothes with emotional resonance.

Global Fashion’s Grand Finale

Paris has long been the final act of fashion month following New York City, London and Milano. It is a place where trends crystallize, careers are made, and statements are immortalized in front-row snapshots and couture-level craftsmanship. With a schedule this ambitious, Spring 2026 promises to deliver us some of the best fashion from around the globe.

And while the numbers suggest growth, the energy signals transformation. This season is a cultural moment... one where new creative directors debut, icons evolve, and fashion history is rewritten in real time.
