Brandon Maxwell NYFW Spring/Summer 2026 Recap

His show included media headlines, newspaper handbags, a red carpet runway & more at Sotheby’s NYC.

Brandon Maxwell celebrated a decade in fashion tonight in New York with a collection that fused his Texas heritage with a distinctly modern polish. The runway leaned into Western codes… cinched cowboy belts, prairie-inspired prints, denim staples, sequined florals, and feathered accents all reimagined through Maxwell’s sharp tailoring and luxe detailing.

The off-schedule show, which premiered on the eve of New York Fashion Week (NYFW), presented the Spring 2026 Ready-to-Wear collection.

The show, titled "TEN," took place at Sotheby's in New York City and blended Maxwell's signature American sportswear with a new edge.

The show struck a perfect balance of wearability and sophistication, with clean pencil-slim silhouettes and bold hardware elements creating pieces that felt both timeless and forward-looking. It was unmistakably Maxwell: glamorous, confident, and rooted in authenticity.

The evening closed to a standing ovation, a testament to Maxwell’s role in redefining American sportswear over the last ten years. His message was clear… American fashion isn’t fading, it’s evolving, and with his vision, it carries both attitude and elegance onto the global stage.
