Paris Fashion Week’s Next Application Deadline Is November 2

Fashion houses seeking a place on two of Paris’s most influential January 2027 calendars face a confirmed November 2, 2026 submission deadline. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has opened applications for the Official Calendar of Paris Fashion Week Men’s Fall/Winter 2027–2028 and the Official Calendar of Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer 2027.

The deadlines are especially time-sensitive because November 2 applies to the completed application, not merely the first request for information. FHCM states that candidates must request the relevant procedure in advance before submitting their dossier.

Two January calendars, two application routes

Paris Fashion Week Men’s will run from Tuesday, January 19 through Sunday, January 24, 2027. For the menswear calendar, a house must have a legal entity, at least one commercialized collection and the intention to participate in the official calendar. Interested brands should write to applicationpfw@fhcm.paris, briefly introduce the house and identify the menswear season in the email subject line.

Haute Couture Week follows from Monday, January 25 through Thursday, January 28, 2027. The couture route is separate: prospective guest houses must request the prerequisites and application procedure through applicationhautecouture@fhcm.paris. FHCM says guest status is examined through a specific procedure conducted by the Haute Couture Committee.

Both completed applications are due no later than Monday, November 2. FHCM has not presented either route as an automatic admission process. Requesting the procedure, meeting the baseline conditions or submitting a dossier does not guarantee a place.

Who is eligible for the Paris Fashion Week calendar?

For the official menswear and womenswear calendars, FHCM lists three initial conditions: the applicant must operate through a legal entity, have at least one collection already commercialized and seek entry to the official Paris Fashion Week calendar.

Collections made up exclusively of accessories, swimwear, lingerie or bridal are not eligible for those Paris Fashion Week calendars. That restriction applies to collections composed only of the listed categories; it should not be expanded into assumptions about diversified ready-to-wear houses without reviewing the formal procedure.

The couture application follows its own committee-led process. FHCM’s public notice does not publish the full prerequisite list, which is why the formal request must precede the final submission.

The womenswear deadline comes one month later

Houses planning for Paris Fashion Week Women’s Fall/Winter 2027–2028 have more time. That season will run from Monday, March 1 through Tuesday, March 9, 2027, and its completed-application deadline is Wednesday, December 2, 2026.

Menswear and womenswear use the same initial contact address, but applicants should clearly identify the calendar and season requested. The separate dates mean houses should not assume that one application window covers multiple categories or seasons.

Paris Runway Official analysis

Official-calendar applications are partly an editorial proposition and partly an operational test. A strong dossier must communicate a clear creative identity, but the house also needs to demonstrate that it is structured to sell, produce and deliver a collection at an international level.

For emerging brands, the most persuasive preparation is likely to connect four elements: a coherent body of work, evidence of commercial activity, credible distribution or buyer interest, and a realistic plan for presenting in Paris. Those are informed strategic recommendations, not additional FHCM rules.

The communications plan matters as well. Official-calendar status can create exceptional visibility, but a listing alone does not replace press outreach, image delivery, showroom follow-up or buyer appointments. Brands should build a post-show system before they apply: approved photography, accurate credits, fast press materials, contact ownership and a clear sales path.

Our earlier analysis of Dior’s SS27 media impact at Paris Fashion Week illustrates the scale of attention that Paris can generate. Emerging houses operate on a different level, but the principle is comparable: exposure creates value only when it is converted into sustained editorial, retail and client relationships.

Avoid third-party “official access” claims

FHCM has separately warned fashion professionals about fraudulent solicitations. Official shows and presentations are accessible by invitation from participating houses, and FHCM does not sell tickets to those events. Brands seeking calendar participation should rely on the application procedure published on the federation’s own website and disregard unsolicited claims of guaranteed placement.
