INTERVIEW

We sat down with Deimante in January to get to know her better and absolutely loved getting to know this hard working woman.

Tell us a little about yourself and how you found yourself having a desire for fashion and posting it online.

Growing up, I was captivated by the way fashion allows us to express our individuality. It started with experimenting with different styles as a child, often inspired by Hollywood glamour, magazines, and even my mom's wardrobe. Over time, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in pageants, including being crowned Miss Aberdeen in 2015 and being part of the Miss Great Britain organization, where I competed for the Miss GB Edinburgh crown last year.

These experiences gave me a deeper appreciation for self-love, confidence, and women's empowerment, which are values I try to showcase on my social media. Sharing my journey online became a natural extension of my passion for creativity and connecting with like-minded individuals, while also inspiring others to embrace their own uniqueness.

Were you nervous to go into a market that is already so saturated with influencers, content creators, celebrities, and bloggers? What made you do it anyway?

Absolutely, it was intimidating at first to step into such a crowded industry. But my pageant experience taught me that every person brings something unique to the table. My voice and style are my own, and I knew there would be people who resonated with what I had to share. It wasn't about competing; it was about showing up, staying true to myself, and finding my community.

What is a goal you have set for yourself as a content creator?

To attend every major Fashion Week event in the Big Four cities within the next two years. The main thing holding me back is travel logistics, but l'm determined to make it happen!

Your Dream Collab?

Chanel-it's been a lifelong dream. Who wouldn’t love that!
