At Galerie Bourbon in the heart of Paris, on October 5th, artist and designer Jennifer Gehr presented her latest collection with Global Glam Fashion where she presented a breathtaking fusion of sustainability, self-expression, and art. Art You Can Wear
Jennifer’s creations begin not with fabric, but with feeling. She sources preloved denim jackets where each one is carrying a story and transforms them through painting, embroidery, and upcycling into one-of-a-kind “art jackets.” The result is wearable artwork that embodies authenticity, strength, and individuality.
“Art is emotion,” Jennifer says. “My art is my emotion. Every jacket reflects what I experience and how I live.”

From New York to Paris
Her journey into fashion began unexpectedly. While visiting her own art gallery in New York City, she wore one of her very first designs which was a painted denim jacket she had created just for fun. “A man in a restaurant stopped me and said, ‘You should show this at Fashion Week,’” she recalls. That chance encounter led to her runway debut at New York Fashion Week, and soon after, to Paris.
Her show at Paris Fashion Week SS26 marked a defining moment which was a celebration of sustainability and self-expression that captivated audiences with its sincerity and style.
