Ibiza Swim Week 2026 Positions itself as Europe’s Swimwear Capital with Growth into Paris

From June 8–10, Ibiza will once again become the epicentre of international swimwear fashion as Ibiza Swim Week returns with an expanded global vision and two defining partnerships set to elevate the platform onto a larger international stage.

This season, Ibiza Swim Week strengthens its growing influence through a collaboration with the Ibiza Town Hall and a strategic partnership with Miami Swim Week The Shows — widely recognized as the world’s leading swimwear fashion platform. Together, the partnerships position Ibiza not simply as a summer destination, but as Europe’s emerging capital of resort and swimwear fashion.

Set against the historic backdrop of Hotel La Torre del Canónigo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the Mediterranean, the three-day programme will bring together international designers, buyers, creatives, and industry leaders through runway presentations, immersive brand activations, and curated pop-up experiences. The setting itself reflects the event’s identity: luxury, culture, and destination-driven fashion converging in one of Europe’s most iconic coastal landscapes.

As global demand for resortwear continues to surge — with the swimwear industry projected to generate nearly $23 billion globally in 2025 — Ibiza Swim Week arrives at a moment when fashion increasingly intersects with travel, wellness, and lifestyle. The platform’s evolution mirrors that shift, embracing not only runway presentations but also commerce, digital content creation, and experiential luxury.

Growth in Europe - Ibiza to Paris

The schedule will include a Paris presentation at Ediko Showroom on June 21, featuring a runway presentation and a private shopping experience with selected participating brands.

The main show which will occur in Ibiza for The Summer Edit at Aguas de Ibiza Grand Luxe Hotel, an industry-focused gathering connecting brands with buyers, suppliers, and the public through curated masterclasses led by beauty expert Mary Dego and wellness specialist Brenda Hardt. On June 9, the main runway showcase takes over Hotel La Torre del Canónigo, followed by an official after-party in collaboration with Miami Swim Week The Shows featuring DJ George Camet. The event concludes with an island-wide content creation day designed to further amplify Ibiza’s image across global fashion and digital media.

Among the confirmed brands are Cocora, Lucini London, Castaway, Tatcher Attire, Princess Rio, Sajara Lozano, Conny Beachwear, Laura Fuentes, Bora Adore, May Rose, and Bikiswim — labels reflecting the increasingly international identity of the platform.

At the centre of the project is founder Nía Vásquez, whose vision for Ibiza Swim Week emerged after experiencing the energy of New York and Miami Swim Week firsthand. Influenced early by fashion through connections to the world of Céline and later working across Madrid and Paris Fashion Weeks, Vásquez built Ibiza Swim Week as a Mediterranean response to the global rise of resortwear culture. Through her own label, Cocora, she has championed bespoke swimwear that blends craftsmanship with elevated femininity, positioning swimwear not only as seasonal attire but as luxury fashion in its own right.

As the boundaries between fashion, travel, and lifestyle continue to dissolve, Ibiza Swim Week 2026 reflects the growing importance of destination-led fashion experiences. On an island long associated with freedom, glamour, and global culture, the platform is shaping a new chapter for European swimwear fashion — one rooted equally in luxury, commerce, and international creative exchange.
