From the Football Field to Fashion: Bryant Lane Is Building His Next Chapter
Boston-based model, personal trainer and former Division I football athlete Bryant Lane is proving that reinvention can begin when you least expect it. After years defined by competitive athletics, Bryant has found a new arena in modeling bringing with him the discipline, confidence and resilience that shaped his first career.
For Bryant Lane, stepping onto a runway wasn't part of a carefully mapped-out career plan. In fact, fashion entered his life through an unexpected connection.
Born and raised in Boston as one of nine siblings, Bryant spent much of his early life immersed in sports. A lifelong athlete, he went on to become a Division I football scholarship athlete, earning recognition including Massachusetts All-Scholastic honors, Bay State Player of the Year, MVP at Bridgton Academy and NE-10 Newcomer of the Year.
But after football, Bryant found himself facing a question familiar to many former athletes: What comes next?

Finding a New Direction
Years of football and training had taken a toll on Bryant's body, particularly his back. His search for answers eventually introduced him to biomechanics and a New Orleans-based training methodology that changed his understanding of movement.
After applying what he learned to himself, fitness evolved into something bigger. Today, Bryant works as a personal trainer and biomechanics specialist, while also coaching youth football in the Boston area.
It was actually through that work that another unexpected opportunity emerged.
A client who had previously modeled encouraged Bryant to explore the industry. The two attended an audition together; Bryant was signed, and within a month he found himself walking his first fashion show.
Now, as he puts it, he's "hooked."
From Boston to the Runway
Bryant has already begun building experience across fashion, commercial and lifestyle work.
In New York, he walked for House of Magsarilli and VictoriaMozogova during the 2026 UNIQUE Fashion Foundation showcase. He has also appeared with Boston Fashion Collective and worked on commercial projects ranging from fitness and wellness to fashion and advertising.
His recent work includes shoots for SomaSculpt, Modern Wellness Spa and Comfrt, as well as an advertisement for John Beccia and an upcoming Betterment project featuring Drake Maye.
For Lane, however, these early opportunities are only an introduction to an industry he is eager to understand more deeply.
His next goal is to expand into fashion, editorial, travel, fitness and lifestyle modeling, while learning how to position himself for the right runway shows, campaigns and creative projects.

A Life Shaped by Resilience
Behind Lane's growing modeling portfolio is a personal story rooted heavily in resilience.
He speaks openly about overcoming adversity, including reaching more than seven years of sobriety, and has shared his experiences when invited to speak at schools and programs.
Sports taught him patience, teamwork and how to continue moving through difficult moments. Fitness later gave him another way to translate those lessons... this time by helping other people build confidence in themselves.
"Being able to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, help them develop goals, both mentally and physically, and then watch them unfold in front of my eyes" is what Lane describes as one of the experiences that makes him feel most alive.
Finding Purpose Around the World
Travel has become another defining part of Lane's story.
Following the loss of his grandfather and best friend, Al, four years ago, Bryant began traveling extensively. In just three years, he has now visited 21 countries.
While the landscapes initially drew him in, it was the people he met who ultimately changed his perspective.
Experiences throughout Southeast Asia and conversations with people whose lives and circumstances were dramatically different from his own gave Lane a deeper appreciation for opportunity, connection and positivity.
That philosophy is captured in one of the mottos he now lives by:
"Find peace, spread love."
For Bryant, finding peace within himself has made it possible to bring something positive to the people he encounters, whether that happens in a gym, on a football field, while traveling or backstage at a fashion show.

Bryant Lane's Next Arena
Modeling may be relatively new territory for Lane, but starting again doesn't appear to intimidate him.
If anything, his background gives him a distinctive foundation for what comes next. The athlete understands discipline. The trainer understands movement and the human body. The traveler understands connection. And the model is learning how all of those pieces can translate in front of a camera and onto a runway.
His goal now is exposure to the right opportunities and the chance to prove what he can bring to fashion.
"I'm most excited about the opportunities I know are gonna come my way," Bryant says, looking ahead to learning how to network, establish himself and secure work in an industry where he increasingly feels he belongs.
And there's another phrase from his childhood that has taken on an entirely new meaning. Lane once jokingly told his sister he was "too pretty not to be seen."
Today, he keeps the words on his bathroom mirror.
For Bryant Lane, it's no longer simply a joke. It's a reminder to step forward, take the opportunity and allow himself to be seen.
