From Mumbai to Manhattan: Suresh Patil’s Bold Second Act in Fashion
After 17 years building a career as a senior technology executive, most recently at Oracle, Suresh Patil is proving that reinvention can happen at any chapter of life.

Born and raised in Mumbai and now based in Manhattan, Patil entered modeling only four months ago after attending an open call almost on a whim. What began as an unexpected experiment quickly became a new career. Since then, he has stepped onto New York Fashion Week runways, appeared on television, landed editorial features, and begun expanding into acting and film.
Patil has walked during NYFW 2026, including for Jimmy Jacobs with Runway 7 at Sony Hall and Diana Mahrach Couture. He also participated in the United Nations COSP19 Future of Fashion Show in June. His growing media portfolio includes a television appearance on PIX11's NY Living, a filmed segment with Fox 5's Good Day New York, a feature in Sarze Magazine, and a nine-page editorial in Bold & Beyond Magazine.

The transition from technology to fashion may appear dramatic, but for Patil, the same qualities that shaped his first career... precision, discipline, ambition, and strategy are now helping define his second.
His ambitions extend beyond the runway. Patil has booked film roles with Sinai Pictures and is exploring commercial, editorial and on-camera opportunities while developing cinematic projects in New York. His goal is not simply to become a model, but to establish himself as a versatile presence across fashion and entertainment.
"I’m not chasing one lane; I’m building a full career across every corner of this industry," Patil says.
His "Mumbai to Manhattan" story ultimately carries a larger message: there is no predetermined age or timeline for beginning again. For Patil, the second act isn't about leaving his former identity behind. It's about bringing everything he learned from it into something entirely new.

His philosophy is fittingly concise: "Reinvent boldly, or not at all."
