Francesca Miranda Brings a Garden of Couture to New York Bridal Fashion Week for Fall 2027
For Fall 2027, Francesca Miranda transforms botanical inspiration into exquisite bridal couture, celebrating the artistry of Colombian craftsmanship and the women behind every handmade creation.
At New York Bridal Fashion Week, designer Francesca Miranda unveiled her Fall 2027 Couture Bridal Collection, presenting a romantic vision of modern bridal dressing inspired by the beauty of a blooming garden. From elaborate ceremony gowns to elegant second looks, the collection explores the many moments surrounding a wedding, bringing together feminine silhouettes, intricate lacework and sculptural floral details.

Flowers became the defining element of the collection, appearing in different scales, textures and dimensions. Delicate blooms were embroidered into fabrics, layered across gowns and carefully sculpted by hand, creating a botanical story that continued from one design to the next. Each look offered a different interpretation of the same garden, balancing traditional bridal elegance with the individuality of contemporary couture.

A Colombian Garden Comes to Life in New York
The inspiration extended beyond the runway through a collaboration with Artesanías del Atlántico, whose artisans from Colombia's Atlántico region created an installation of monumental handcrafted flowers. Transforming the New York presentation space into an imagined botanical garden, the installation reflected the floral artistry found throughout Francesca Miranda's collection. What appeared as oversized sculptures within the room was reinterpreted through delicate embroidery, appliqué and dimensional embellishments on the gowns themselves.

The collaboration also celebrated the women responsible for bringing these creations to life. The installation was produced by female artisans, including mothers who are heads of their households, creating a meaningful connection with the women working inside the Francesca Miranda atelier in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Every garment in the collection is conceived and made in Barranquilla, where traditional techniques in embroidery, construction and finishing remain central to the house's identity. By bringing together the artisans behind the installation and those responsible for the couture, Francesca Miranda highlighted two expressions of Colombian craftsmanship, both rooted in the same region and united by the beauty of handmade artistry.

The Artistry Behind the Collection
While the floral details introduced a sense of romance, the collection also reflected the changing wardrobe of the modern bride. Ceremony gowns were presented alongside second dresses and designs intended for celebrations beyond the wedding itself, offering different expressions of femininity while maintaining the intricate craftsmanship associated with the Francesca Miranda house.
The presentation was further enriched by musical curation and a mix from Colombian artist and entrepreneur Martín Gutiérrez, bringing fashion, traditional craft and music together in a celebration of Colombia's Caribbean creative identity.

For Francesca Miranda, the Fall 2027 collection was as much about the people behind the designs as the garments themselves. Through its botanical inspiration and extraordinary attention to detail, the presentation connected the elegance of bridal couture with the cultural heritage and artisanal traditions of her home region.
In a season where bridal fashion continues to embrace individuality, Francesca Miranda offered a collection that felt both romantic and deeply personal, reminding audiences that the beauty of couture begins long before a gown reaches the runway.
