Austin Fashion Week (AFW) returns for its 17th year, running from May 8 to May 10, 2025, at The Domain in Austin, Texas. Recognized as the largest and longest-running fashion event in Texas, AFW is the fourth largest fashion week concept in the United States. This year's event emphasizes independent and emerging brands through runway shows and pop-up shops, focusing on brands interested in selling directly to consumers.

Event Schedule

Thursday, May 8

  • INCUBATE: Presented by ACC Fashion Incubator, this show spotlights emerging designers. The event begins at 6:00 PM at The Domain, with the Runway Show beginning at 8pm.

Friday, May 9th

  • Black Designer Showcase: Presented by the Austin Area Urban League, this showcase celebrates Black creatives in fashion. The event begins at 6:00 PM at The Domain, with the Runway Show beginning at 8pm.

  • THE BLACK DESIGNER SHOWCASE IS A FASHION SHOW IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AUSTIN AREA URBAN LEAGUE FEATURING INCREDIBLE BLACK FASHION DESIGNERS FROM TEXAS AND BEYOND

Saturday, May 10

  • SUSTAIN: Presented by Goodwill Central Texas, this show features upcycled designs from local designers and stylists using Goodwill donations. The event begins at 12:00 PM at The Domain, with the Runway Show at 1pm.

  • EMERGE: Showcasing fresh talent and innovative designs, the Runway Show begins at 3:00 PM at The Domain.

 

  • LAUNCH787: The grand finale of AFW, highlighting standout collections, commences at 8:00 PM at The Domain.

Pop-Up Shops

In addition to runway shows, AFW features pop-up shops from sponsors and brands. These shops are accessible to all AFW ticket holders and Domain shoppers without tickets, offering a unique shopping experience.
