At 19, Alisa Is Building a Life Around Fashion, Travel and the Confidence to Be Seen

From childhood modeling and pageants to Miss Bikini Ireland 2026, the Dublin-based model is returning to an industry she has loved for years... this time with a clearer sense of who she is and where she wants to go.

At 19, Alisa isn't interested in choosing only one path.

Originally from Russia and now living in Dublin, she balances life as a flight attendant and model while studying to become a Social Media Strategist through digital marketing. They are three very different worlds, but for Alisa, each connects to something she values: creativity, travel, communication and personal growth.

Fashion, however, has been part of her story for much longer.

Her first experiences came as a child model, through pageants and professional photoshoots. Even away from modeling, personal style remained a way for her to experiment with identity and self-expression.

When she returned to modeling in April 2026, something had changed.

This time, she knew she wanted to build a career from it.

Finding Confidence in Front of the Camera

The more Alisa photographed, the more comfortable she became not only with being seen, but with deciding how she wanted to be seen.

“As I started doing more shoots and creating content, I realised how much I genuinely enjoyed being in front of the camera and bringing different ideas and styles to life,” she says. “What started as an interest gradually became something I wanted to take seriously and develop into a career.”

That growing confidence also led naturally to content creation.

For Alisa, social media isn't simply somewhere to post finished photographs. It has become another creative medium and one she is now studying professionally.

“For me, social media is more than just posting photos. It’s a way to express my personality, creativity and individuality while connecting with other people and inspiring them.”

The connection between modeling and digital strategy feels particularly relevant to a generation of talent increasingly expected to understand both sides of the camera. Alisa wants to develop her portfolio, but she is equally interested in understanding her own identity as a brand and how to communicate it.

From Miss Bikini Ireland to What Comes Next

Her return to modeling has already encouraged her to step outside her comfort zone.

This year, Alisa competed in Miss Bikini Ireland 2026, adding another experience to a growing portfolio as she actively pursues opportunities across fashion, modeling and media.

Her modeling work has also been shared on social media by Mastermind Studio in connection with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2024. Alisa is careful to distinguish the experience from an official Sports Illustrated publication, but considers the feature an important moment in her developing journey.

Now, she is looking ahead.

Runway shows, campaigns, castings, editorial opportunities and collaborations with designers, photographers and brands are all part of what she hopes to explore as she builds her career.

But recognition isn't the only objective.

Fashion as a Form of Self-Expression

Ask Alisa what draws her toward fashion and her answer continually returns to creativity.

She loves the possibility of becoming someone slightly different in every photograph... the ability to interpret an idea, experiment with style and communicate something without necessarily having to explain it.

That freedom has also helped her become more confident away from the camera.

She describes herself as ambitious, determined and willing to step outside her comfort zone, qualities she hopes will continue pushing her into unfamiliar rooms and new experiences.

Her passions... fashion, beauty, travel, creativity and personal growth are already intersecting in a life that doesn't fit neatly into one title.

Perhaps that is why her definition of purpose isn't rigid either.

“To me, purpose is about having something in your life that gives you direction, motivation and a reason to keep pushing forward. I don’t believe purpose has to be one specific thing, and I think it can change as we grow and experience different stages of life.”

At 19, Alisa doesn't need to have the entire journey mapped out.

She has returned to the industry she first experienced as a child, only now with the confidence to take it seriously, the ambition to build something from it and a growing understanding of the image she wants to put into the world.

For Alisa, fashion isn't simply about being photographed. It's becoming a way to discover and confidently define the person standing in front of the camera.
