An intimate story about Jacquemus Spring 2025 Show in Paris "CRUISE" La Croisiere
Dear reader,
Simon Porte Jacquemus' Spring 2025 show in Paris on Sunday was strikingly raw and intimate. Titled "LA CROISIÈRE" (French for "CRUISE"), the show took place inside architect Auguste Perret's rue Raynouard apartment, a minimalist Art Deco space of concrete and wood.
Just 40 guests, including Central Cee, Tyla, and Hongjoong, were invited to witness the runway show from the abode's mismatched chairs. Models, including Christy Turlington and Adriana Lima, evoked the 1950s in enduring looks that were uncomplicated yet effective. Notably, the entire spectacle was shot on an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Jacquemus, known for his grand destination fashion shows, stated, "With this collection, I want to bare myself before you, without artifice, just our silhouettes in the intimacy of Perret's apartment."

The footwear included a fresh addition to Jacquemus' ongoing Nike collaboration: a reimagining of the "Moon Shoe," Nike's first-ever sneaker from 1972, in a yellow hue with the brand's signature Waffle sole.
Overall, Jacquemus' Spring 2025 show was remarkably intentional, focusing on both paring back and throwing back. It was a revival of modernism, reminiscent of the 1950s.
Sincerely,
